Hi Shaun

It's probably going to be a matter of using the crystal calibrator and 
counting revolutions of the VFO knob to get an approximate idea of 
frequency.  I don't remember how many kHz per VFO knob revolution as such 
things weren't very important when I could see, but that is probably how 
you will need to approach it.
