Isn't there a version of that called DigiTalk? I thought I remembered
something about that but it's gone out of my memory now.

Take care and very 73.

Subject: Re: PSK31 software?

For me the problem with Digipan isn't multiple signals, it is getting JAWS
to read the incoming text without repeating everything over and over. On
rare occasions, I've found that changing the font size in Digipan to a
large value, like 30 or so, will let it read normally, but this isn't
repeatable and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why it is doing
this. You may find that Using the JAWS cursor will read incoming text ok.

Maybe no help, but here are some thoughts on limiting the number of
QSO's being decoded: Do you have the menu item checked to allow the use of

arrow keys to jump between signals? Perhaps checking the "AFC" option in
the drop down menu will help. My Digipan is pretty old and don't know if

anything newer is out. I know that many of the newer psk programs are set

up to decode multiple signals and a sighted ham just has to click on the
one he is interested in. If that is the case with your software, there may
be an option to do away with the multi channel and limit to single channel
decode.

I've not looked at the latest HRD psk stuff, but found older versions less
usable than Digipan.

BTW, if you have an older pc, the Digitalk program for the blind is self
voicing, and while a bit crude and clumsy, does work. It worked fine on
Windows 98 and even at the start of XP, but stopped working for me
somewhere after XP service pack 2 came out. Others on the list had the
same problem. Someone had contacted the author about updating the
program, but nothing ever came of it.
