To be honest, most anything would be better. There are quarter wave and half
wave wips and even 5/8 wave that will go dirrectly on the rig. I'd suggest
staying away from 5/8 though. Even Though 5/8 will get out a little better,
it will also cause a little more stress on antenna connector so probably not
worth the difference. Dave W4CI
