you can still get computers with parallel ports but you probably can't
through dell since they go as cheap as they can and the quality has
reflected it since the beginning of time. Last I knew though if you went to
www.newegg.com or sites like that and really look, you can find desktops
with a parallel port. I build mine and the one I currently have packed but
used before the move and will move after the move to the apartment has one,.
You can still get add on cards with them anyway if you have open slots. I
have one somewhere from back when I needed 2 but it's packed away somewhere.
