I've been trying to confirm, but I think the newer Kenwood radios, tm271A, 
TMv71 and the like, use the same cable as the commercial radios which can be 
bought on ebay for about $15 to $25. I'm still trying to confirm it, but 
I've been told that is very likely the case.
