Well, it depends what you want to use it for.

Just making the same decisions.

I have compared the receiver of the ic-910 with the ts2000 and there is 
no comparison.

Using weak beacons just at the noise level and the icom wins every time.

Also, the strong signal handelling of the icom is very good.

If you are interested in vhf/uhf weak signal ssb and cw then the icom wins.

Only close alternative is the kenwood ts-790.
