I've got some PIC microcontrollers that I keep intending
to enlist in infrared remote projects. They are several times
faster than the 6502 in the Apple II was and some of them are
capable of servicing interrupts so timing should be a little
easier. I have been very lazy the past couple of years and hope
to get back to doing some of this fun stuff soon.
