When I ordered my TW2 from AES just before Christmas, it came with the 
adapter.

I didn't ask, and I wasn't charged extra for it. It was packed in the LDG 
box with the unit, not separately in the shipping box like it would have 
been if purchased separately.
So, you may end up with one afterall.
