Right, one of the tabs under the "Date and Time" settings allow you to
regularly sync with one of the internet clocks. There are registry hacks to
allow you to sync more often than XP allows by default.  I think without the
hack the sync happens only once a week and during a reboot.

If you have XP, there's a program that does it automatically for you that I
have yet to have a problem with. The jfw lite page is still there,
www.jfwlite.com  lot of interesting programs in the downloads section.
