If you mean to ask if it's all in one unit, the answer is "yes".  It can be
run by either a 9-volt battery, or an external AC adapter.  I will probably
just keep using the 9-volt battery for convenience if nothing else, but it's
good to have the AC possibility in case the 9-volt battery goes dead, and I
don't have an immediate replacement.
