    Gary:

There are three jacks, but the external speaker jack is the left-hand-most
jack. It's a standard mini phono plug.

    Gary:

It's a bit difficult, but here's how I did it.

Locate the cover, and press down slightly on it, while at the same time,
pulling the cover toward you.

It should snap free fairly easily.

I'll send you my TS480 files in a separate e-mail to your private e-mail
address.

Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ

Thanks Steve, I found that cover, but can't seem to find the way to open it.

Gary,

The external speaker jack is on the front of the radio under a plastic
cover. The jack on the control head is for headphones, which means it is
padded down.
