Hello my friends,

Last night's Handiham TechNet was yet another success. The predominant
topic was the use of EchoLink on the various tablets. If you missed the
TechNet, you might want to visit the archive pages to download the weekly
TechNet. In addition, you might consider joining us on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
CDT, 8 p.m. EDT.

Topics covered last night:

1. Running EchoLink on the Android platform - the very first question
we had on the TechNet was from KD0ETQ, he wondered if the EchoLink app would
run on the Android tablet devices. Many hams jumped in to put in their
$0.02 cents. Download the mp3 file and Listen in for tips!

2. Sorting favorite stations in EchoLink Android version - There was a
question about sorting and putting stations in order of mostly used on the
android.

3. Demonstrations of iPad and android device audio - A couple of folks
on the list actually provided audio demos and they sounded very high
quality.

4. Nokia Linux and EchoLink - a question came up as to whether
EchoLink would run on the flavor of Linix installed on the Nokia phone.
Again, listen in for tips and tricks on this very interesting topic.

As promised, we said the TechNet would be engaging and entertaining. Last
night was no exception and we promise to continue having the TechNet remain
Dynamic and unpredictable. As we also stated, the TechNet would not be a
one way discussion on topics. The TechNet engages hams in discussions and
everyone participates.

We look forward to seeing some of you there again soon!

Visit http://www.handiham.org and click on Audio This Week. In that section
of the web site, you will find the Archives and this week's TechNet when it
is posted.

Regards,

Jose - KK4JZX
