I havne't done a lot of playing on the lower bands, but would suggest the
sensativity isn't great at all.  It is handy though for monitor one's
transmit audio and stuff like that.  I tried a  telescopic whip on mine
with an adapter and still don't find the sensativity all that great on say
channel 33.  NOt sure what to use for an antenna there.  I may hook it up
to the ifr and see what the sensativity actually is.
