I don't know if you can have separate pl tones on this radio or not, that
is one for xmit and a different one for receive.  If not, if the repeater
doesn't xmit the pl tone  You could turn on pl tone for receive.  When it
receives your signal with proper pl, it would retransmit, but wouldn't
retransmit the repeater as there would be no pl.  If you an set the radio
up for separate on receive ande xmit, you could set up your radio for
different, but I don't think it does, although, come to think of it, it
still might work as you're on different bands.  All I can think of at the
moment.
