Its never too early to do this, right? I may go for a mobile rig later
in the year. Seems the Kenwood TM V71A is the favored rig of choice, with
the speech added.

What other items would I want to add to this set up?

Antenna. I live in a townhouse, and there are high ceilings. I know I
cannot mount anything outside. Is it practical to use an antenna inside
that wont get in my way? May also want a mag mount for portable use.

Power source. My computer is on a UPS. Would there be any reason I
could not use this in the event of power outages? I will replace it
sometime this year and could get increaced capacity.

Any other goodies to add to my list? Thanks all.
