Hi John:

Not sure what the shortened patch cord connected dummy load was as I was in
the process of shutting down.
Just switched to direct on a wim. In the bypass mode though the dummy load
was 1.0/1. Direct to the 100 foot length to the antenna was 2.5/1.
It also seems like that perhaps one of my top sections maybe not making
full contact and perhaps a clamp needs to be snugged. As for the coax, I've
never had SWR flat when connected to a tuners circuits. Always 20 to 30/1
and had to tune out. When I've connected my dummy load to the tuner
curcuits, the same, always 20 or 30/1. I have never connected the dummy
load and switched to direct to test the SWR but will the next time I'm out.
