Just letting everyone know, a couple weeks I worked on an accessible text
file of the manual for the FT-470, if anyone wants it, email me direct at
[log in to unmask]  I did submit it to icanworkthisthing.com  I don't know if
it's up yet or not.  I don't know how I did but it makes sense to me, also
thinks to everyone for helping me get my friend up and running with hers,  I
got a great deal on another one, bad battery but now I have one too so we
can compare notes, works great on packet.  I have way too many hand helds
here now  lol.
