Throw it out and get a new one.  I would suggest the Cuisinart models.  I
have had great luck with these, specifically the 4 cup model since that is
just the right amount of coffee to fit into my 20oz mug.

Hi

Any ideas on what is wrong with my coffee pot? The light works but the hot
p= ad stays cold and it does not make hot water. It's a drip style machine.

Any ideas are appreciated.
