Oh I loved my 940! I'm still sad that it blew up one Labor Day as a result
of lightning storm. Got an 870 after that but still prefer the 940 although
the 870's receiver is better.

As you may know, the 940 is a highly regarded CW rig, among all it's other
qualities. Don't know if you work any CW but I certainly agree that that
radio can and should be revived. Based on the experience I've had with my
440, It's well worth it. Lou
