Hi Alan!

You're safe there. Even if you failed to back your phone up before it went
south, any purchases bought with your Apple ID can be restored. This is true
even if youre replacement phone is a different model than you lost. 

Having an Apple ID is your friend.

Unless they send you a faulty replacement, I'd expect you'll be up and
running within a short time when the wait for the mail is over. You also
don't have a long week-end starting tomorrow which would delay things here.
