I've done business with these folks and they're pretty good, although their
prices aren't necessarily the best.

You might want to inquire into whether or not you can get a
repeater.  Delphi sells a repeater for their XM radios.  You place
the repeater in a location that can receive the signal, then you
place the receiver antenna wherever you want, and the
repeater  transmits the signal to the receiver.
