Hi Lou, the Sangean equivalent radio is the ats803, and or the 803A, and or
803B./I've heard of all three.
In terms of a memory battery, Since the memories are volatile/will
disappear when power is removed, or AA cells are removed, there's likely not
any other battery supply for the radio's memories and clock, other than the
AA cells. Meanwhile, in terms of a reset button, I'm not sure, although I
never remember seeing/feeling one, and I've experienced several of the
units.
Have you checked icanworkthisthing.com for a manual? that should answer
the reset button question---in fact you might find a manual at
radioshack.com or 1800theshack, although considering the age of the unit
that's a longshot. *ANother longshot, Universal Radio may have some info,
as they do sell those units used, quite often. Those old radios do sound
great, and usually work very well. Have you tried to bring the unit up
strictly with batteries?
HTH, Danny.
