While we're on the topic of upgrading your license, I found
http://www.hamexamonline.com to be very accessible.  It even has an option
to turn off the questions with figures, and the cost isn't too bad.

Anyway, I'm going to try scanning the extra class study manual as well, so
if anyone wants a copy, let me know.  I don't know how well it will work,
but I intend to try.
