Sometimes conditions are 1 way, you can hear but not get out, others you can 
be heard but not hear and others, it's 2 way.  I wouldn't worry about it, 
conditions were like that a lot on 20 last week. If you didn't have some 
very serious power you weren't getting back to anyone from around here th 
ough you could hear them well.
