John, that's not much of a reason for rejecting the entire rig.  Yah I know 
those connectors are very dumb to use and wouldn't be my choice but the rig

The RJ-12 is slightly bigger than the 11, not much but slightly. I can't say
anything for the 480 as I don't have one and that's one of the reasons I
don't want one.
