I've never understood how companies get away with charging so much for
speakers which are, at best, about as good as ones you can get for a quarter
of the price from Radio Shack, etc. At the same time, you don't really want
to connect a full-fidelity speaker to a receiver whose audio amplifier has
total harmonic distortion of 8 to 10%; all that does is emphasize the
distortion, which will only frustrate and disappoint your ears. With a
little perseverance, you should be able to find a good speaker. Good luck,
