Hi,

Seems to me that most gear on the market today is designed to be "jacks 
of all trade and master of none".

Perhaps it is not possible to design a first class receiver in a unit that 
covers hf vhf and uhf.

I find it a shame that those who want first class receivers are not catered for 
in the market today.

I think the last two "real" performers Kenwood produced were the ts-790 for 
vhf/uhf and ts-950 for hf.  They seem to have lost the plot now.

Will they ever make another classic?
