I got one of the last Extras given by the FCC back in 1984.  I got it in San 
Antonio.  Ive been licensed for 51 years this month.

Although licensed for 46 ears, I didn't get my Extra until 2011 at
Dayton. Not quite as big a thrill as getting my original license, but
pretty close. Really nice not to have to worry about as many band
