Hi all,

I had something fun happen this morning. For several days now, there has
been a lot of talk on the local vhf repeaters about the international space
station. One gentleman has been sending several of us updated lists of the
upcoming passes.

this morning I was able to connect on packet twice on two consecutive
passes. The first time around, I left a friend a message on the packet bbs
and the second time I first connected and left the crew a message and then
reconnected, went into converse mode on the TNC and exchanged a two way with
this same local station via the digipeater. This was fun stuff. Next, I
try for a voice qso when I hear him on voice.

Take care all and 73.

Kevin, K7RX :)
