Hello to the list.
I am back on after a long time of being off list so I may have mist something.
So if I am asking the same question forgive me.
Is anyone on here into multimode operations such as amtor and pactor?
These Kantronics tnc's I know are controlled by programs like pacterm and other programs for connecting to stations and disconnecting and all the things you would do with a tnc.
Is this new fancy version of pacterm even usable with the screen readers out on the market?
I am trying to think of the new version of pacterm and what they call it now.
I think it is digital desktop.
Sweet and short, is it a waste of time trying to use these programs like pacterm with screen readers?

I have also heard that you can use programs like the HyperTerminal program in windows to send commands to the tnc to get it to do what you want.
Is this true with these newer tnc's too or do you have to use programs like pacterm to access them.
Hope someone can help me out.
I am just starting to research this for myself and I want to know what I am doing before getting into this.
Thank you.
Tracy Son.
