Hi everyone, I have a problem that has been with me for the last several
months with Pine. I use Pine in a telnet window a lot in addition to
Outlook Express and I have had this weird problem where I'll be reading in
something in Pine and the session will just go to sleep on me. I don't know
what to do here, as this is a problem that happens in both DOS and Windows
with the telnet client, and I am using Windows XP Home. The only thing that
seems to be working in terms of keeping the session a live is using a
program that allows NUL packets to be sent every so often, where as to not
make the thing time out. My ISP says that everything is working fine on
their end, and it is something with my laptop.
