Hi Doug,

Thanks for your note and for the positive feedback. If, as you say,
there are enough audible clues to get around the radio (say, at the
beginning of a cycle of options or at a default), that's really quite
good, and that will make a huge difference. For instance, with 34
filter settings...LOL...Basically, my concern is in having some sort
of reference so that we know where we are in a group of settings. The
other huge concern is knowing what frequency is being operated
on. This is naturally most easily accomplished with some sort of
keypad--which is why I suggested that something like what can be had
with the Pegasus be drafted into service--but cw output of frequency,
if voice cannot be added, would be nice as well if it could be
squeezed in somehow.

In any case, I appreciate you taking the time to address this
concern. If the radio can be operated by a blind operator--with enough
feedback so that we don't get hopelessly lost with it--it's definitely
back on my list for next radio :)
