Hi,

My local club had a TS-440 for a number of years, and it is my understanding
that they sold the rig due to the unavailability of replacement parts (ie.
Numpad boards).  It seems that the numpad boards in the 440's are prone to
cracking if used heavily for direct frequency entry, other than the issue
with the availability replacement parts it was a pretty good field day rig.

The TS440 excepts the VS1 Speech board.  The TS450 uses the VS2.  It is the
TS430 that doesn't have the speech option.
