but the r75 uses the UT102 synthesiser doesn't it?
an ut102 is the same board in any radio, and if there are instructions to 
adjust volume with a VR on the UT102 for the r75, those same instructions 
would hold true on the ic718 using an UT102 no?
seems like there is a bit of conflicting information here...icom and the AES 
tech say no VR adjustment on the board, where others, non official techs say 
there is...wonder which it is.
