Put ferrite coils on your speaker leads. Wrap several turns around
them. Good luck. Radio Shack should have these items.

As for Power, I will give this some thought.

Subject: two questions

Hi, List

I have two questions.

1. I would like to get some emergency power for my station, at least
for vhf. I live in an apartment and I don't have a place for a car or
marine type battery. I have a Kenwood TMG707A and an Icom O2AT. What
would you suggest?

2. The speakers for my PC make a terrible sound when I transmit. The
only way I can get around this is to turn them off. Can anyone suggest
a better work-around than that?

Thanks.
