Hi.

As some of you know, I have a radio on EchoLink. I need some help from
other folks who have radios on EchoLink. Right now, our area is having a
major winter storm, and my station is being used to link other repeaters to
the EOC. I'm encountering a problem, however. I have EchoLink set for
carrier CTS, which means that I transmit whatever comes over EchoLink. This
is fine, except when another repeater links up to me that is doing the same
thing. We end up doing a kind of loop, transmitting the other's tail. I'd
like to set EchoLink for VOX operation to try to eliminate this problem, but
I'm not sure how to adjust the VOX sensitivity. I had the system on VOX
before, but I was told that I wasn't holding the VOX when I talked over
EchoLink. I'd appreciate someone out there who has experience with this
helping me out.

By the way, as a side note, I know I missed the EchoLink net last weekend.
I've just started college, and I was catching up on sleep. Tomorrow, we're
expected to get a lot of snow around here, so I'm not going to be available
for the net.

Thanks for reading this note, and thanks in advance for any help.
