This is for the LG VX 4500 Verizon cellphone.

 Sorry Gang,
 I got in a hurry and my previous post got jumbled. I've  revised it
slightly
 here.

 Hint: When inputting text or names via keystrokes in abc mode. The <1> is
1,
 <2> is abc2, <3> is def3, <4> is ghi4, <5> is jkl5, <6> is mno6, <7> is
 pqrs7, <8> is tuv8, <9> is wxyz9, <0> is 0, <*> is shift case, and <#> is
 space. Press a key once for first letter, twice for second letter, three
 times for third letter, Etc. Lynn would be <5><5><5> <9><9><9> <6><6>
 <6><6>. And pressing <2> five times will produce an "a", since the key's
 result will have rotated through its sequence around the clock and back to
 its original value.
