After testing and research, I actually went with Microsoft security
essentials, formerly windows live security or something like that. It's been
proven to actually work, something questionable on most of the free ones, it
is free, and I can't even tell it's running on my computers, it doesn't have
any effect on the performance but if it finds something, it lets me know
before it becomes a problem for the computer. I sure can't complain.
