Brett,
Believe me, after putting up three towers in various yard sizes, it would be
worth going free standing, digging a big hole based upon the manufacturer's
recommendation, and skipping the trouble with all the guys. Then that way
you don't have to decide on cutting non resonant lengths of cable, clamp
thing, or buying more expensive non conductive cable. For 50 footers, and a
free standing non guyed tower, it isn't as much concrete as one would think
and it is a whole lot less trouble, too. It is also a whole lot easier to
climb. If you are young, that is.
Phil.
