The Radio Shack HTX10 does not have pl. Otherwise, once you load a few
reference frequencies, it's okay, but certainly not perfect.

These rigs were closed out earlier this year for $39.95.

If anyone can find one, it would be the Radio Shack Order center at
800-8344, but don't get your hopes too high.

I wouldn't pay over $75 for one.

About 2 months ago, Memphis Amateur Electronics had a clean used one. You
might check with them at 800-238-6168. Also ask them about the 2950 that
John mentioned, or the Uniden 2600. The Uniden 2510 is good, but will not
work repeater splits.

There's also an older RS rig which is also good, but it doesn't have FM. It
is the HTx100.
