Hello all,

The Thursday NY Times page E-1 has an article about the Segway, complete
with pictures. The Segway in the pictures was a Prototype and models being
manufactured, which I have seen, are quite different.

There mention a group (America Walks) who is working to get them banned
from sidewalk use. Their web site is    www.americawalks.org

I just got a letter from my city and Segway will be on the agenda for our
Transportation Commission next month.  One item to be discussed is a
demonstration of a Segway.  The city has requested my attendance of this
meeting.  I plan to go if at all possible.
