Hello all,

On the TV news (www.nbcsandiego.com?) tonight, was a story about what they
said was an independent living center(?) in San Diego that had not paid
it's utility bills and that the power was to be turned off by San Diego Gas
and Electric company next week. According to the report, there are 30 PWD
(people with disabilities) living there, one man they spoke to uses a
ventilator (part of the time). In the report they stated that the PWD will
be having a "car wash and other activities" tomorrow to try to raise money
for the bill. The bill is over $10,000.

It seems to us that someone is not doing their job and possibly the PWD are
being "ripped off and financially exploited"? If so this could well be a
criminal offense.

Pete
