You might be interesting in a portable hand held keyboard but currently
I cant find the link for it. I use to keep up to date on the MIT
students and their wearable computers. One of the neat components was
the hand held keyboard mouse the size of a coke can. You strapped it in
either hand used a standard plug in and you had 4 by 4 rolls of buttons
and inside of it was a weighted ball that allowed you to tilt it to move
the mouse. It was mentioned that you can get up to 63 words a minute
using it and you can program it too and do a braille 2 code cord like
setup. The web site use to be twiddler.com but it isnt working the
device was about 80 dollars and it was called the twiddler.

Hope that is of some help.
