Axel,

You might find the documents you are looking for on the CCC's High Tech
Center Training Unit's website.

http://www.htctu.fhda.edu/

I'd suggest looking under publications, guides, or documents.

good Luck...

Subject: Section 508: CCC versus CSU

Back in early July, Norm made the following statement with regard to
California Community Colleges: I believe that the community colleges have
taken the firm position that 508 applies or at least that they will act as
though it applies." Aside from this institution's impressive documents on
Distance Education and Accessible Alternative Media, does someone know of a
policy statement that explicitly outlines CCC's position regarding Sect.
508. I'm looking for something that can be compared (and put in contrast) to
the memorandum issued by California State University system
(http://www.csus.edu/web/accessibility/CSU_508_memo.htm).

Thanks,

Axel

I believe there is a confusion about California and 508.

I believe that the community colleges have taken the firm position that 508
applies or at least that they will act as though it applies.

I believe that it is the California State University system that is
waffling, and I am not at all sure that the University of California has yet
taken any position.
