aloha, william!

thanks for the note -- i'll convey your words of gratitude to rosemary!

i also want to take this opportunity to apologize for having been an absentee
listowner for the past year and a half, but i recently got my internet
connectivity straightened out, and i'm finally again able to monitor the list
with the attention that that responsibility demands...

it is my hope that this list can reinvigorate itself, and i am very pleased
that people have begun to discuss access to X Windows... i would be interested
in further discussions in that area, as well as ideas about access to Gnome --
i know that there is an embryonic screen reader for Gnome, but don't know if
there is anything in the way of braille output or screen magnification
available for Gnome...

therefore, i'd like to ask everyone who is subscribed to BLIND-DEV to post an
emessage to the list, stating what topics or issues YOU would like addressed on
BLIND-DEV...

let's get the ball rolling again,
        gregory
