>How much bone did HG eat? Did they eat it cooked or raw? Did they chew on
>raw bones?

i found a dead pigeon once, let it ripen in the fridge for few days then
ate it ,i was very surprised at how easy it was to chew the bones i almost
ate every thing except the bigger ones.
Today i found a dead deer while coming back from getting a quarter of beef
life is so aboundant some times) they were 2 eagles that cleaned away half
of the deer ( all the organs were gone except the content of the stomach,
the eye gone and on that side only the bones were left)
I felt very much a scavenger primate and when i came closer to recycle the
bones ( raw deer marrow is myummy) i discovered that the other half was
still intact. They left me the side they could not reach and the brain..

>How do you get to like raw bones??

You migh have to cut your intake of other fats and specially the denatured
ones (cooked ) to leave th room for the real stuff ,overwise you are very
much likely going to experience a strong "stop" on the raw marrow. ( if your
body is overwhelmed by fats)
when needed the marrow just melt in the mouth like butter, if not it can be
quite repulsively greassy.
Last thing to consider the marow is of very different texture taste and
color depending from which bone and even inside the same bone .Deer marrow
can be from yellow to dark red while beef is mostly white. or pinkish
look little bit anemic in comparaison)
