It is not wrong according to Sears.  He contends that proteins contain
hidden fats, so even though a block of fat (he now calls them
"macroblocks") is 3 grams, you should only eat 1.5 grams, with the
remainder being made up from the hidden fats.  Ergo, a 12 block/day diet is
prescribed for my parameters, which is 930 calories per day.

I still say it is starvation levels.

I think Ray Audette has the right idea.  Between Neanderthin and Lyle
McDonalds writings I am regaining my strength and I hope to get the bodyfat
down to a dull roar.

Considering diet "gurus" brings to mind the line from Monty Python's Life
of Brian. (Paraphrasing)
