In addition to Jim's selection, if you enable RECORD A LOG FILE for your
modem (START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, MODEM, select modem, PROPERTIES,
CONNECTION tab, ADVANCE button, bottom of window), Symon will then let you
select your actual modem by name for bytes rec/sent. However, it is only
available under the ADD when the modem is "initialized", e.g. using DUN
(logged on to your ISP, any program like fax and/or answer machine, etc. is
set up to answer, HyperTerminal, etc. I use this method since I have two
Dial Up Adapters installed since I use a H/PC which connects for
synchronization through a DOA and depending on which is connected first, the
modem could be on DUA 1 or DUA 2. and I have 2 modems installed (57K and
33.6K) and I fix the graphs to a FIXed size based on the two modem speeds so
that the maximum is the maximum for the particular modem.

Not disagreeing with Jim...just some additional information on using Sysmon.
I personally really like sysmon and start it on boot in my START FOLDER and
monitor CPU usage, RAM usage, Swap file in use (I have a fixed 256Mb Swap
File and if you do not you can monitor Swap file size which may be different
that the IN USE size)

In addition, you may have to manually add a shortcut for
C:\WINDOWS\SYSMON.EXE to your SYSTEM TOOLS folder if it is not there.
