You bring up some interesting points...
Drugs in Osteopathy. See, I study Osteopathy here in
Canada and not once did I hear the word drug. Never.
It would be against this healing arts principles. I
know that Osteopathy is aproved ONLY in the USA as an
official medicine. A D.O. is also an M.D. Perhaps they
place a large emphasis on the traditional medicine
rather than on manipulations.
From what you wrote, it sounded alot like what I
study. My MESSAGE came to be only because I've heard
manny horror stories related to Chiros. A dude at my
martial-arts academy told me he was paralysed for a
month after seeing a Chiro. The word is that certain
treatments require a swift thrust in the upper
cervical area. As a martial-arts student I'd say
that's dangerous. As an osteopathic student I would
concure -- Anything done swiftling or abruptlly is
dangerous.
Anyway, I'm manning spewing out what information I got
from school and people around me. So far I've only
seen a little magic from diet. I guess you got good
doctors and bad doctors... That kinda goes with
everything in life.
