No. The w6 fats are the precursors of two anatagonistic sets of
eicosanoids, the series 1 and series 2 prostaglandins. GLA in
particular goes to the production of series 1 eicosanoids, which
tend to reduce inflammation and vasoconstriction and clotting.
In the context of a typical Western metabolic profile, the series
1 eicosanooids are "good". Without GLA your body can't make
them.
